The drive itself is an unforgettable experience as the road winds through alpine forests, rugged mountain landscapes, waterfalls, and snow-covered peaks during the winter months.
You will reach Tsomgo Lake by around 10:00 AM. This sacred glacial lake changes its appearance with every season—from frozen white landscapes during winter to deep blue waters surrounded by blooming rhododendrons in spring.
