From there, a short drive takes you to Kathmandu Durbar Square, a complex of ancient palaces and temples that served as the seat of the Malla kings. In the afternoon, you will visit Boudhanath Stupa, one of the largest spherical stupas in the world and a major site for Tibetan Buddhism. The day involves roughly 30–40 km of total travel within the city, with each site located roughly 15–30 minutes apart depending on traffic.
