Day 1

Gorakhpur – Lumbini – Pokhara

Driving Time: 8–10 Hours (including border formalities and sightseeing)

Upon arrival at Gorakhpur, meet your driver and begin the scenic journey towards Pokhara via Lumbini, the birthplace of Lord Buddha. After completing immigration formalities at the India–Nepal border, continue to Lumbini, one of the most sacred Buddhist pilgrimage sites in the world.

Visit the sacred Maya Devi Temple, built at the exact birthplace of Lord Buddha. Explore the peaceful Sacred Garden, Ashokan Pillar, and several beautiful international monasteries constructed by Buddhist communities from different countries. The serene atmosphere of Lumbini offers an ideal introduction to Nepal’s rich spiritual heritage.

After sightseeing, continue your drive through the picturesque countryside of Nepal towards Pokhara. En route, enjoy views of lush green hills, rivers, traditional villages, and terraced farmlands. Upon arrival in Pokhara, check into your hotel and relax.

Day 2

Sarangkot Sunrise & Pokhara Sightseeing

Early morning excursion to Sarangkot, Nepal’s most famous sunrise viewpoint. Witness the spectacular sunrise over the snow-capped Himalayan range, including breathtaking views of Annapurna, Machhapuchhre (Fishtail Mountain), and Dhaulagiri. The golden rays illuminating the peaks create an unforgettable experience.

Return to the hotel for breakfast and proceed for a full-day Pokhara sightseeing tour. Visit the sacred Bindhyabasini Temple, dedicated to Goddess Bhagwati. Continue to Davis Falls, a unique underground waterfall, followed by the mystical Gupteshwor Mahadev Cave.

Explore the beautiful Phewa Lake, the second-largest lake in Nepal. Enjoy boating and visit the island temple of Tal Barahi Temple located in the middle of the lake. Later, visit the International Mountain Museum, showcasing Nepal’s mountaineering history and Himalayan culture.

Day 3

Pokhara – Jomsom

After breakfast, begin your adventurous drive to Jomsom through the spectacular Kali Gandaki Gorge, known as one of the deepest gorges in the world. The route passes through charming mountain villages, rugged landscapes, waterfalls, and dramatic Himalayan scenery.

Travel through Beni, the gateway to Mustang, and continue alongside the Kali Gandaki River. As you gain altitude, observe the changing landscape from green hills to the barren, trans-Himalayan terrain characteristic of Mustang.

Enjoy magnificent views of Nilgiri, Dhaulagiri, and Tukuche Peak throughout the journey. Stop at various viewpoints for photography and refreshments. Upon arrival in Jomsom, explore the quaint town known for its strong winds, apple orchards, and traditional Thakali culture.

Day 4

Muktinath Darshan, Dhumba Lake & Drive to Pokhara

Early morning drive to the sacred temple town of Muktinath, one of the most revered pilgrimage destinations for both Hindus and Buddhists. Located at an altitude of 3,800 meters, Muktinath is believed to grant liberation (Moksha).

Visit the famous Muktinath Temple, perform darshan, and experience the sacred 108 water spouts and eternal flame. Pilgrims from around the world visit this holy site seeking spiritual blessings.

After darshan, proceed to the beautiful Dhumba Lake, a serene high-altitude lake surrounded by barren hills and stunning Himalayan scenery. The tranquil atmosphere makes it an excellent location for photography and meditation.

Later, begin your return journey to Pokhara through the scenic Mustang region. Enjoy breathtaking mountain views and picturesque landscapes throughout the drive.

Pokhara – Janakpur

Travel through scenic countryside, traditional villages, and bustling towns before reaching Janakpur. Upon arrival, enjoy an evening visit to the magnificent Janaki Temple illuminated with lights. The temple is a masterpiece of Mughal and Rajput architecture and attracts thousands of devotees every year.

Take a peaceful stroll around the temple complex and local markets to experience the spiritual atmosphere and vibrant culture of Mithila.

Day 6

Janakpur Sightseeing – Gorakhpur Drop

Continue to Ram Mandir, an important religious site, and visit nearby holy ponds including Ganga Sagar and Dhanush Sagar, both deeply associated with Ramayana legends.

Following sightseeing, begin the return drive to Gorakhpur. Enjoy the scenic route through Nepal’s Terai region and complete border formalities before arriving in Gorakhpur for your onward journey.
