Day 1

Raxaul Pick-up – Drive to Kathmandu via Manakamana Temple

Your Nepal journey begins with a morning pick-up from Raxaul, followed by a scenic drive towards Kathmandu through the beautiful landscapes of central Nepal. After completing the border formalities, continue through green valleys, rivers, hills, and traditional settlements. En route, visit the famous Manakamana Temple, one of Nepal’s most revered Hindu pilgrimage sites. The temple is located on a hilltop and is traditionally reached by the Manakamana Cable Car, offering spectacular views of the surrounding Himalayan foothills and Trishuli River valley. After darshan and some time at the temple complex, continue your drive towards Kathmandu. On arrival, check in to your hotel and relax after the long journey. In the evening, you may explore the lively Thamel Market, known for its shops, cafés, restaurants, handicrafts, and vibrant atmosphere. Overnight stay in Kathmandu.

Full-Day Kathmandu Sightseeing

After breakfast, proceed for a full-day sightseeing tour of Kathmandu, exploring some of the most important cultural, religious, and historical landmarks of Nepal. Begin with Pashupatinath Temple, one of the most sacred Hindu temples dedicated to Lord Shiva and located on the banks of the Bagmati River. Continue to Boudhanath Stupa, one of the largest Buddhist stupas in Nepal and an important centre of Tibetan Buddhism. Next, visit Swayambhunath Stupa, popularly known as the Monkey Temple, situated on a hilltop and offering panoramic views of Kathmandu Valley. Later, explore Kathmandu Durbar Square, featuring ancient palaces, courtyards, temples, and traditional Newari architecture. Depending on time, visit Jal Narayan Temple (Budhanilkantha), famous for its large reclining statue of Lord Vishnu. After completing the sightseeing, return to the hotel for rest. Evening can be spent at leisure in Thamel.

Kathmandu – Chandragiri Hills – Drive to Pokhara

After breakfast, check out from your Kathmandu hotel and begin the scenic journey towards Pokhara. The first major attraction of the day is Chandragiri Hills, located on the outskirts of Kathmandu. Take the Chandragiri Cable Car to the hilltop and enjoy magnificent views of the Kathmandu Valley and, on clear days, the Himalayan ranges. Visit the Bhaleshwor Mahadev Temple situated at the summit and spend some time enjoying the mountain scenery. After descending from Chandragiri, continue the drive towards Pokhara. The route follows beautiful river valleys and winding mountain roads, passing through villages, terraced fields, forests, and hillside settlements. You may stop along the way for refreshments and photographs. Upon reaching Pokhara, check in to your hotel and relax. In the evening, enjoy a peaceful walk around Phewa Lake and Lakeside Market, one of the most popular areas of Pokhara, with restaurants, cafés, souvenir shops, and views of the lake.

Pokhara Sightseeing – Drive to Muktinath

Start the day with breakfast and a short sightseeing tour of Pokhara before beginning your journey towards the sacred destination of Muktinath. Visit Devi’s Fall, a beautiful waterfall famous for its underground water channel, followed by Gupteshwor Mahadev Cave, located near the waterfall and considered an important religious site dedicated to Lord Shiva. You can also visit International Mountain Museum, which showcases the history of mountaineering, Himalayan culture, and the world's highest peaks. After sightseeing, begin the drive towards Muktinath through the spectacular landscapes of the Kali Gandaki Valley. The route gradually enters the mountainous Lower Mustang region, with dramatic cliffs, deep valleys, waterfalls, and changing landscapes. Continue through Tatopani, Ghasa, Marpha and Jomsom towards Muktinath. Due to mountainous roads and changing weather conditions, the journey can take longer than expected. On arrival in the Muktinath region, check in and rest.

Muktinath Darshan – Dumba Lake – Marpha Village – Pokhara

Begin the morning early with a visit to the sacred Muktinath Temple, one of the most important pilgrimage destinations in Nepal and revered by both Hindus and Buddhists. The temple is situated at a high altitude in the Mustang region and is surrounded by spectacular Himalayan scenery. Pilgrims traditionally take blessings at the 108 water spouts and visit the nearby Jwala Mai Temple, known for its naturally burning flame. After completing Muktinath Darshan, proceed towards Dumba Lake, a beautiful high-altitude lake near Jomsom surrounded by barren mountain landscapes. Continue your journey through the picturesque Marpha Village, famous for its traditional stone houses, narrow lanes, apple orchards, and beautiful Himalayan surroundings. Spend some time exploring the village and taking photographs before continuing the drive back towards Pokhara through the Kali Gandaki Valley. The journey offers stunning views of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri regions. Arrive in Pokhara by evening and check in to your hotel.

Pokhara – Bandipur – Raxaul Drop

After an early breakfast, check out from your Pokhara hotel and begin the return journey towards Raxaul. En route, stop at the charming hill town of Bandipur, one of Nepal’s best-preserved traditional settlements. Located on a mountain ridge, Bandipur is famous for its traditional Newari architecture, peaceful streets, historic buildings, and panoramic views of the surrounding Himalayan foothills. Take some time to explore Bandipur Bazaar, walk through the old town, and enjoy the beautiful mountain scenery. After Bandipur sightseeing, continue towards the Nepal–India border through the scenic highways and river valleys of central Nepal. Depending on traffic, road conditions, and border formalities, the journey may take most of the day. After completing the necessary immigration and border procedures at the Nepal–India border, continue to Raxaul for your final drop.
